Who’s making waves and rocking the stages of ETHDenver? It’s Apillon!

Being recognized as a “UX gift to Polkadot” made Apillon’s week. And made the whole team blush since we indeed strive to become the cornerstone for all ecosystem-based partnerships and cooperation.

It feels incredible gaining a great deal of recognition and validation throughout the Polkadot ecosystem. All the hard work the Apillon team has been putting in has been taking the right turn.

Also, once in a while, it’s nice to come out of the development cave and show the world what we’re buidling for the builders. Especially if they like it as they say they do!

TL;DR:

  • The Polkadot ecosystem desperately needs a good UX overlay and Apillon proves to be just the tool.
  • Compared to six months ago, Polkadot ecosystem projects are much more aware of the focused benefits Apillon brings to their use-case-specific parachains, not to mention the enhanced user count they could achieve by reaching the devs through the Apillon platform.
  • The fast & furious networking of the Apillon core team resulted in the enormous potential for new partnerships, project cooperations and VC connections. Stay tuned for the aftermath of it all.

The best quotes from ecosystem players:

- “Apillon is making sure that Polkadot and its ecosystem is actually usable.” by Hoon Kim, CTO at Astar Network

- “What Polkadot is to parachains at the backend, Apillon is at the frontend — building an interoperability layer for devs to interact with the whole ecosystem.” by Nate Hamilton, Director of Business Development at PureStake & Moonbeam Network

So, thank you, ETHDenver. For all events’ details, cool photo ops and lavish tweets, read through the day-by-day chronicles of the ETHDenver happening. Be patient, the fun part awaits at the end of the post.

Apillon’s agenda at ETHDenver.

1. BUIDLing the Multichain with Polkadot — event

It was the first event in Denver and Nino Kutnjak, CPO at Apillon, participated in a “Why BUIDL on Polkadot” panel discussion.

Together with panelists from OAK Network, Zeitgeist and Parity Technologies, Nino was commenting on the possibilities of secure cross-chain interoperability and open governance. They also talked about the benefits of Polkadot’s tech stack to each of the projects.

2. Moonbeam Infrastructure Villa — booth

Day two at ETHDenver, the Apillon team headed to the $Spork castle to the Moonbeam booth, where they joined forces with other ecosystem projects.

Apillon guys were sharing the booth with Stellaswap and Prime Protocol, chatting with all kinds of Web3 enthusiasts and professionals, gathering precious feedback and distributing Apillon swag. And did lots of posing.

3. Polkadot in USe — side event

Apillon and a few other Polkadot-based projects came together to co-organize an ecosystem-driven side event of ETHDenver. The initiative was led by the Webzero events agency and enriched by the keynotes of the wheelers and dealers of the wider Polkadot community.

The event was an absolute blast, joined by Robert Habermeier, Co-founder of Polkadot and Björn Wagner, Co-founder and CEO at Parity Technologies.

4. The Polkadot booth

For the thriving ecosystem of blockchains and dapps that is Polkadot Network, the future is multichain. Apillon joined the Polkadot booth to share our share of the trustless puzzle they bring to Web3.

The bypassing developers engaged in a lot of meaningful conversations with the Apillon team, which proved to be very insightful for the future building of the Apillon Web3 development platform. Practicing what we preach is not as easy as it might sound and building for the developers by the developers is a hard nut to crack. The impressions of the Web3 builders at ETHDenver sure helped a lot!

5. Monkey businessing... I mean, networking hard

So many events, and so little time. Once in a while, we have to let go a bit to regain the strength of character. And meet the people we normally wouldn’t by going to dull business meetings.

All the fun things we did with other project team members boosted our bonds as we put on different thinking hats. And btw, solved our way out of the MetaMask escape room challenge.

A big fist bump for the winning combo of Apillon & Parity tech!

Our dear ETHDenver frens, we did have loads of fun Web3-ing, met a ton of interesting people and distributed (and also got) so much amazing merch.

And as we are getting more and more popular, we have a lot of fans who follow our moves and promote our work. Here is a very quick video recap, generated by one of our own Apillon Apprentice Ambassadors.

As mentioned before, more will follow!

Join us on Apillon’s social media channels and, if you dare, explore the Apillon Web3 development platform — we appreciate all the feedback we can get.
